Regardless of how well-designed a commercial structure is, degradation is inevitable. It is also a fact that business changes so quickly that a chic-design for its time can soon become outdated. We are one of the top commercial construction companies in the field, and our services involve rebuilding or refurbishing buildings to increase their longevity and improve their aesthetics.
Time can cause even the most cutting-edge examples of commercial construction to weaken. Typical areas of renovation include weatherproofing the external walls, waterproofing a leaking roof, or keeping the flooring protected from damage caused by impact or abrasions. Don’t assume that commercial contractors work solely on old buildings; new ones occasionally have structural challenges that can only be overcome with the aid of a top commercial construction firm.
Over the years, our list of commercial construction services has grown and evolved to the point where we can solve almost any challenge your structure faces. We have decades of experience in the industry, but it didn’t take us long to realize that clients wanted premium-quality, personal attention, and competitive pricing. Our team offers all of the above and more.
We are a commercial construction company dedicated to regularly exceeding the expectations of our clients. Irrespective of whether you need a small, low-cost renovation, or a vast, multi-million-dollar overhaul, we will under-promise and over-deliver! A successful commercial construction project must have all the pieces in place at the get-go. This is why we go the extra mile to communicate with architects, subcontractors, tenants, and owners.
Our group of commercial contractors has managed hundreds of projects in the San Diego area, and our preference is to work on each one from concept to conclusion. Our experienced staff understands every phase of the design & construction process because of their direct involvement in all projects.
Our experience includes the following:
- Corporate offices
- New construction
- Medical offices
- Dental surgeries
Although we are a large commercial construction company, we strive to provide our clients with the kind of personal attention they would expect to receive from a small, family-run business. We have found that projects become faster and more efficient when we reduce the number of people that keep in contact with clients. This process rapidly speeds up response time and ensures that all messages are clear and consistent.
Can Resicom help design a custom home for me?
Yes, we have more than 53 years of experience in building family homes and are specialists in restoration and commercial projects. We offer priority construction services to clients at affordable rates to ensure they get value for money.
Can I make site visits to the house during construction?
Once construction work begins on your home, no site visits without a builder representative are allowed. This is mainly because the construction site has a lot of dangerous conditions, and we must comply with insurance requirements that don’t allow any unaccompanied visitation to the site.
After we have framed the house, and the under roof and trades have roughed-in the components, we can schedule a pre-drywall walk-through. This will allow you to check the status of your home and ensure that everything is done to your satisfaction.
What’s the difference between remodeling and renovating a home?
The renovation of a property or home means that updates and changes were made to the property, but there weren’t any major structural changes. Remodeling is when the space inside the home was changed or expanded, and the walls were moved.
Do you charge for estimates?
We don’t charge anything for our estimates and are happy to meet with clients, to review their project and give them a detailed proposal that outlines the scope of work for the quoted price. It’s imperative that we get as many details as possible about the possible to give you an accurate quote.
How long will my project take?
Every construction project is different, and the duration it takes to complete depends on various factors like the scope and size of the job. We will put together a construction schedule before construction begins, and then detail out every step of the project. This is done to ensure you can track the progress of your project. It is imperative that the construction schedule remains on track, to ensure satisfaction for all involved parties.
What is the payment process?
We require a 10% or $1,000 deposit, at the contract signing, and a further 15% when mobilization occurs to start construction. We will also send progress billings throughout the course of the project, which is a good way to invoice customers. It helps them check the progress and feel comfortable with the percentage we are billing them.
Do I need permits for my project?
Most remodel projects need a permit, but there can be some exceptions, like when we are applying finish upgrades like crown molding, paint, or a new carpet. If you have a construction project in mind and want to know whether you will require a permit, you should get in touch with us today
What is your service area?
Most of our services are offered to people in San Diego County, and our general service area is a 100-mile radius from our office. However, we also take on projects outside of our service area, so give us a call and we will see what we can do.
It is always overwhelming when you’re starting a new construction project, and we understand that a lot of our customers are going to have a lot of questions. We want to ensure our clients completely understand what to expect from their project and are comfortable working with us.
